Tannenbaums steel in is almost every high-rise in Toronto, The Bata Shoe museum was not built by a catholic, Honest Ed’s and Mirvish theatre ring a bell. Real Torontoians realize you can get anywhere in the city in under 40 minutes without the hassle of parking, Cities are built for people not cars – but you probably live in a suburb where the nearest restaurant is a hour drive away and your garage takes up one third of your house.
@bir90 The good and the bad neighborhoods kinda blend into each other, so there really is no way to warn you which ones are bad. I lived one block above the worst area of Toronto, and those few steps put me in one of the best neighborhoods in Canada. Go and spend a few day in the city first and get to know a few locations and pick one based upon the shops, restaurants, parks etc that you like and find something that way.
I loved all the pics of my kick ass city. But I was a little confused by that shot of the falls. Now don’t get me wrong. I’m not against moving the falls to the best city in the world.

@BATMANLIBATMAN Canada is a big place (much bigger than the USA) and there’s lots to explore. So before you cast us off as mashed potatoes without and gravy (Mr. Billy Bob Thornton), just remember that you still have at least another 9 provinces and 3 territories.

(our taxis are not all yellow -whop-di-freaking-do) 4) We do have a baseball team-The blue Jays won the world series in 1993!! And we are the most multicultural city ON THE PLANET! – We have a zoo, theatre, Opera, every sports league, etc & Toronto isnt new – 1834 – u Hater
I would say no, just because it is the dead of winter. The fall season can be especially beautiful because of the changing of the colors, and the summer..well it’s summer, everything is good in the summer. You should try and get out onto the lake, go sailing or something. It really puts the size of Lake Ontario into perspective. It is practically an ocean! Where did you stay and what did you do while here? It will help with what I give as advice, in case you already did that. you feel me?
@ontariobuds i have come back to england but i am going again in january. yeah i went to bluffers park and the whole park was amazing. is january any good for sight seeing ?
