I spent a month in Montreal and I love this town so much!
1:27 When did the giant piano come here and why did i miss it
i love this city is awesome i love it
@emergencyexit16 It’s just like New York but in smaller and with french speakers. It’s a simple city such as all of the others cities in north america.
I don’t know…it looks kind of boring…what makes it a special city? It doesn’t have that wow factor for me like say Barcelona or Rio de Janeiro…
I’m going there this summer to practice french
i’m so excited now!
I’m moving there this sunday!
The reason tourists don’t see many homeless people in the streets of Montreal is because the police have systematicllay cleansed the streets. Most of them are in jail, unable to pay for being fined repeatedlt for trivial things, things that a weel to do person would not be fined for. This is being done by city officials to help Montreal’s chances as a tourist center.
@asspop123 The nightlife is really what Montreal is all about, there really is an abundance of bars and clubs everywhere.
n i woudlnt cuz its i canada and we have 2 official language : french and english. u can be understood almost everywhere except when u meetsome ppl who dont speak english ^^ montreal is abeautifull city ^^
LOOOL! Go on crescent, st. denis & st. laurent for clubs, and st. catherine street for strip clubs and French prostitutes.
If you want to “have sex with french women”, learn french. At least, try it, make an effort. French people appreciate the effort. For clubs, try to go on Saint-Laurent street or Saint-Denis. Don’t go on Crescent : it’s a tourist trap.
la ronde, club tokyo and one of the many strip clubs
I’m gonna go to montreal in April, anyone have advice on what to do there during that time? I’m going for 7 days, I want to go to clubs, and have sex with french canadian women. LOL and also go sight seeing.
i was born in montreal and i moved to arizona u.s.a 2 years ago im moving back in summer 2010 to my city of montreal its getting creepy here in u.s.a to much racism and jobs are going down i hate summers dam heat no thank you not for me here !i miss my city precious montreal theres nothing to do here in arizona yuck!
Not at all; all of the west island, and some boroughs inside the city, are completely english. You would have no problem at all living here. In the most aprt, everywhere you go, workers are mainly bilingual anyways.
job wise, is it difficult?
nop! a lot of people in montreal only speaks english or most of french people can handle both language, so that would be not a problem!
Would it be hard for me to live in Montreal since i dont speak french?
i live next to boston, and went to montreal for the first time 3 years ago – i have gone back every year since… i feel like an idiot for not going up there sooner – as far as comparing boston and montreal …its no comparison. montreal blows boston away. boston is provincial; montreal is cosmopolitan!
Do it Tarek, Mtl nightlife is world class and ive lived everywhere from London to Bangkok, the only downside i can give you are the winters but if your in boston it wont faze you. Great clubs, parties the cutest girls i could go on and on!!!
Montreal is a biutiful city and Boston too … Now i’m lived in Montreal .. You don’t need to speackin french to live in montral everyone speak english … i learn english at school
