Tied with Wedgemount Lake for gorgeous views and significantly more popular, Garibaldi Lake is accessible in a day-trip as well as having a good sized campsite facility. One can swim the waters if you are brave enough for the cold.
This picture is looking east across the lake to the Sphinx Glacier and region. Castle Towers is the peak to the left on the ridge.
