banff is lovely yes there are tourists but sadly there is too many tourists in well known tourist parks eg grand canyon ect
I live in Banff. It is easy to get away from tourists. They spend most of their time on Banff Ave. A simple walk out of town, and you feel like you have nature all to yourself.
Having stayed in both Banff and Lake Louise, I can say that Banff is beautiful if you know where to stay! And thats not downtown!
Its up in the mountain to the southwest! 
LOL you are obviously from Ontario and have never been to Banff… Niagara Falls doesn’t even compare to an entire National Park.
Well perhaps you can say something nice. Camping costs money. You can sleep on the roadside for free but not fun or safe.
Parking is free everywhere in Banff. Sewer…that’s free although maybe someone charged you because you…were so thankful to be in such an incredible place that we have set aside. Perhaps you may want to plan a trip somewhere that is totally free?

I paid $60 Dollars for one week and consider it an investment to one of the Worlds most Beautiful Parks. My car drives from Banff to Jasper and to Yaho were specatular and it was eveident that the money was being used for the environment keeping it clean.

We used to wind up people by saying its a revolving restaurant when I was stationed out in BATUS. (British Army)
I’ve been chased out of lots of parking lots and secondary roads when I tried it. Better to pay to stay at one of the hostels in town – they are cheap and you get to meet like-minded folks, make new friends, etc. You get your shower and a place to cook, too. The HI-Banff Alpine Centre has a pub onsite, too, lots of fun.
i went to Banff with my fat cousin, it was sytill fun, but he complained to much that it was to hot.

i just came back from banff and there is a hotel there called the voyager inn and its only like a$100 and the romms are pretty good. The hotel also has a pool a hot tub and a sauna

im plannin a holiday to banff and was thinking of sleepin in the suv vehicle to save money on hotel fees. ANy ideas on where i could do it? I dont wanna get arrested or anything but its my god given right to sleep. ONly thing i really need is a shower at least evewry three days. I mean you can handle not having a shower for a day or two and nobodies going to notice when im riding my mountain bike about. ANy ideas on where i should sleep in my vehicle in the banff jasper area or near by

I’m very excited about the festival and will attend both nights here, however, I agree that the trailer lacks the energy, suspense, drama, and awe inspiring moments that come from careful editing of film and matching in appropriate way to the music. Also, the sponsors take up more and more of the clip each year, but I can understand that. They have to pay for all this and it’s worth it.
This trailer is the worst one I’ve seen for BMFFWT. Cool images but really poorly put together. Maybe they will redo it. But I still can’t wait to go multiple nights!!!
